En Galápagos, a través del programa Cuidando Galápagos, se han retirado 1,7 toneladas de residuos en Santa Cruz, San Cristóbal e Isabela.
En el Golfo de Guayaquil, con la iniciativa Pescando Plásticos, más de 300 voluntarios han logrado retirar 146,8 toneladas de plásticos de los manglares desde 2021.
Cada bolsa recogida, cada playa limpia y cada voluntario nos recuerdan que juntos podemos lograr un océano más sano y comunidades costeras más fuertes.

At TUNACONS, we lead initiatives to prevent plastics from reaching the sea and the beaches, working hand in hand with communities, authorities, artisanal fishers, and partner organizations.
In Galapagos, through the Caring for Galapagos program, we have removed 1.7 tons of waste from Santa Cruz, San Cristóbal, and Isabela.
In the Gulf of Guayaquil, with the Fishing for Plastics initiative, more than 300 volunteers have removed 146.8 tons of plastics from mangroves since 2021.
